IT Resources: Get Help and Support

The Service Desk is staffed to answer calls, chat, email and handle ticket requests during our regular hours.

IMPORTANT! For the month of December 2022, please note changes to Service Center hours of availability.

Wednesday and Thursday December 14th and 15th - IT Service Desk will close at 5:00PM.

Saturday, December 17th - CLOSED

Friday, December 16th Through Thursday, December 22nd - (Remote Support Only, 8AM-5PM)

Friday, December 23rd Through Tuesday, December 27th - CLOSED

Wednesday, December 28th Through Friday, December 30th (Remote Support Only 8AM-5PM)

Saturday, December 31st - CLOSED

Monday, January 2nd - CLOSED

Service Center Regular Hours

Monday Through Thursday - 8:00AM - 7:00PM (Service Center walk-up is available)

Friday - No Walk-up Assistance (Remote Assistance Only)  8:00AM - 5:00PM

Saturday - Fall and Spring Semester: 8:00AM - 1:00PM

 Sunday - Closed
 

Reaching Out for Support:

  • If you need a service we have outlined in our service catalog, please submit your specific Service Request so we can process your request most efficiently.
  • If you are experiencing issues (something broken that needs to be fixed), please report an Incident.
  • You can email IT Desk or by phone at 651-793-1240.
  • To view the status and updates on tickets you have submitted, just log in to the Service Portal with your Minnesota State login and click on Services at the top and then click Ticket Requests to view your submitted tickets.  
  • You may also find helpful information or instructions by searching the Knowledge Base.  To view the full range of services and knowledge base articles available to you make sure you log in.
