Accessing Self-Care Portal: www.metrostate.edu/phone

• Step 1) Navigate to www.metrostate.edu/phone.
• Step 2) Use your StarID credentials to log in.

• Notes:
• For security, the voicemail web system is available only through a university provided network connection.
• To access Self-Care off-campus from a university issued laptop, you will need to be connected through the VPN.

Listed below are the many features and phone services you can access and personalize from the Self-Care portal.

• Phones
  • See your extension
  • Set Speed Dial numbers
  • Set Ring Settings
  • Set Voicemail Notification Settings
  • Check Call History
  • Find and Create contacts
  • Set or disable - View instructions for Forwarding Calls to Another Number
• IM & Availability
  • Set or disable Do Not Disturb (DND)
• General Settings
  • Set Phone Services PIN (which is used for those individuals who have Extension Mobility)
  • Set a Conference Call – This is a personal conference line that each extension owner now owns. The meeting number is your extension, while the Access Code is what you set and give out to those to join your conference call.
