MediaSpace: Edit Captions

Summary

All videos in MediaSpace will be automatically captioned shortly after the upload is complete. These automatic captions are a great starting point, but will not be accurate enough for ADA compliance. You can order captions to have it captioned by a third-party vendor or you can follow these instructions to edit the captions yourself, add speaker names, and update the caption file details.

Open Caption Editor

  1. Go to mediaspace.minnstate.edu and sign in using your StarID.
  2. Select a video from your media that has automatically generated captions.
