External Event Space Reservation (no login required)

Overview

• Request to reserve an event space on a Metropolitan State University campus as an external (non-Metropolitan State University) organization.

• External organizations may be affiliated with a state agency, be for profit or not for profit.

• Major event spaces include Founders Hall Auditorium, Reception Area, Great Hall, Library 302 Eco Lab and Science Education Center Atrium.

• Other spaces, including classrooms and computer labs are also available for event reservation but specific rooms may not be guaranteed due to class scheduling. 

Important Information for External Events

• There is a two hour minimum reservation

• External events wanting to serve food must use an approved catering service

• External events require prior payment and proof of certificate of liability insurance

Resources

• Events wishing to serve alcohol will need to refer to the Minnesota State System procedures and submit the form by uploading it as an attachment to the ticket.
