Create New Email Distribution Group

Overview

• Email distribution groups (listservs) allow messages to be distributed to all the distribution list subscribers by submitting a message to a single email address which sends the message to all subscribers of the list.

• Another name for an email list is a distribution group or listserv.

• Faculty and staff with the appropriate supervisor approval are eligible to submit this request.

Benefits

• Send email to multiple people without having to add email addresses individually.

• Facilitate moderated or un-moderated discussions between a party of individuals.

• Allows for replies to be sent to all members of the Email List
