D2L Brightspace: Garbled PowerPoint in Content

Overview

If PowerPoint documents in D2L course Content are unreadable, scroll down and select the View as Page button; this will enable the PowerPoint to display readably and eliminates the need to download to do so.

Should you encounter PowerPoint documents in D2L course Content unreadable with overlapping text and slides appearing stacked over one another, scroll down and use the View as Page button to view content as standard text.

View as Text (button at top)

In most cases, to view PowerPoint documents in D2L course Content you will want to:

  • use View as Page located at bottom
  • avoid using View as Text button located on the top of the PowerPoint document.
