D2L Brightspace: Faculty - Links Tool

Using the Links Tool

Links can be used in D2L to store all locations for students to access external content such as other websites, media etc.  This can be a convenient way for students to get access to content instead of finding links embedded into other content. 

The steps to creating Links

Under the Materials dropdown, select Links

1. Click on New Category
   1. Create a Title
   2. Write a Description
   3. Click Save
2. Click on New Link
   1. Select the Category
   2. Create a Title
   3. Paste in the desired url (web address)
   4. Write a Description
   5. Click Save
