General Information:
Hunt Groups:
A hunt group is used to "hunt" for a person that is available to take a call. Hunt groups are normally setup as main department or college phone numbers. Employees can then be assigned to this group to allow them to answer the phone line.
Callers that call the hunt group line will be forwarded to the available employee in the group. The caller ID on the desk phone or WebEx application will display as a call being forwarded from the hunt group line. This helps to differentiate a calls as direct calls to an employee's phone number will appear with the caller's caller ID and not as a forwarded call.
Please fill out a phone request to make any changes to the hunt group.
