Students: Updating Preferred/Personal Email

How To


  • If I do not have a personal email account associated with my StarID to receive a verification code, how can I update my preferred email to include that email address?


  1. Go to eServices and log in with your StarID and password.

  2. Select Account Management

  3. Select Demographic Info

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to enter your email address (see Important note to enter a personal email address)
    Important! The recommendation is to use an email address other than your Metropolitan State email (use a personal email address). The  verification code will be sent to the personal address as the student email account will be locked.)

  5. Select the Submit button to save changes.
