Options to save files using Virtual Computer Lab

Important Notes:
- While you're working in Metro's Virtual Computer Lab make sure to save your files to either OneDrive, your H:\ Drive, or to your local computer.
- Any files you haven't saved outside of the Virtual Lab will be lost when you log out of the Virtual Lab.
How to save to OneDrive
Note: IET Services recommends using the online version of OneDrive in the Virtual Lab environment for a better user experience.
Steps:
- Log in to the Virtual Lab at labs.metrostate.edu
- From within the virtual lab environment browse to https://www.office.com and log in using:
- Click on the App Launcher in the upper right corner of your browser and then click on OneDrive:
- You can upload newly saved files and download existing files to your Virtual Desktop for editing.
How to save to H:\ Drive
Steps:
- Log in to the Virtual Lab at labs.metrostate.edu
- Start any of the provided applications in the Virtual Lab.
- When you are finished working on your document just save it to your H:\ Drive
- Now your files will be saved on the network and will be available the next time you connect
How to save to local drive
Steps:
- Log in to the Virtual Lab at labs.metrostate.edu
- Connect to your local computer by following this KB: Virtual Computer Lab: Access Local Files
- Start any of the provided applications in the Virtual Lab.
- When you are finished working on your document just save it to your local drive Ex. highlighted below.
