• How do I find the Host Name in the menu of my Cisco IP 8851 phone?

Steps:

You can find the Host Name in the menu of the Cisco 8851 IP phone display by accessing:

1. press the GEAR ICON hard button to the left of the number pad.
2. Select, "Phone Information" by entering "11" or by using the circular button to navigate and select this option.
3. Reference the third value called Host Name which will start with, "SEP".

Note: You can view the Host Name while on a phone call.
