Student StarID Account Access:
Student StarID account access is controlled and managed by a Minnesota State affiliation process. Your affiliation at Metro State University is activated based on your enrollment status. Many Metro State and Minnesota State technology services, applications, and access are associated with this process. When students register for classes, access is granted to Metro State technology resources including but not limited to: email, access to lab computers and our virtual lab.
The length of time your StarID account will be enabled is based on enrollment status reflected in the list below.
- Admitted Students (Students who have applied and been admitted to Metro State) - Access is defined for one year after being admitted to Metro State University.
- Enrolled Students (Students who are enrolled in classes at Metro State) - Access is defined for three years after the end date of your final class at Metro State University.
- Alumni Students - (Students who have graduated from Metro State) - Access is defined for three years after the end date of your final class at Metro State University.
