Mobile app Emergency Calling

When you set up Webex mobile app, make sure to read emergency calling Webex notifications displayed on your device during setup.

Emergency Calling Notification:

Only use your soft phone to dial emergency services from your registered physical location to ensure your call is routing to the accurate dispatch center and avoiding potential delays from inaccurate location information. Remember, you can always use a cell phone to contact emergency services.

Location permission for emergency call:

Webex uses your location for emergency service calls. To provide the most accurate location information to the emergency services, it is recommended you set your location permission to “while using the app”. Otherwise emergency calls may be misdirected to the wrong response center, or the operator may be unable to determine your exact location. Remember, you can always use a cell phone to contact emergency services.
