Question:

This article is intended for faculty. If you are a student with questions about D2L, see D2L Brightspace or get help here.
Faculty can write an announcement in one course and publish it to other courses right from the announcement itself.
Step-by-step instructions:
- From the course home page, or from the Announcements tool, select the context menu for the announcement you want to copy and select “Copy to Other Courses”:
- If you want the announcement to be published automatically in the destination course(s), select "Publish Announcement on Copy". If this box is not checked, the announcement will be in draft form in the destination course. Search for your course(s). It might easiest to narrow your search by using the “semester” button to select a given semester, or add the semester prefix, “Sp24” for example for spring 2024, to your search. Select the check boxes for the course sections you want to publish to, then select the “Next” button.
- In the next view, confirm your selection and select the “Copy” button:
- You will see a confirmation window. Select the “Done” button to close it.
