• How do I set up the Cisco Conference Phone before a scheduled meeting?

Steps:

1. Remove the Cisco Conference Phone from the case along with the Ethernet cable, additional microphones and adapter (if needed).

2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Cisco Conference Phone, connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a network port.

   1. If there is no network port available for the Ethernet cable to connect to, you will need to connect the cable to an adapter.

   2. The cable connected to a network port supplies both power and signal. No additional power cable is needed.

3. Connect each of the additional microphones to the Cisco Conference Phone.

4. Wait for the phone to boot up

5. Press the phone icon in order to get a dial tone for calling out

   1. If you are dialing a 4 digit campus extension, simply dial the extension

   2. If you are dialing an off campus number, dial 9 and then 1, then dial the 10 digit phone number

6. Press the Send button; the LCD screen will display the text Send above the respective button. 

Additional Information:

• If the Cisco Conference Phone does not boot up when it is plugged into the wall, or if it does boot up but you don't get the dial tone when pressing the phone icon, try to plug the Ethernet cable into a different network jack in the wall.
