Validated Tickets
Validate tickets can be used for special events, event speakers, event guests, open house, guests of the President, and more.
- Validated tickets can be ordered by staff or other employees in a department with the cost center managers approval.
Ordering Validated Tickets
Using Validated Ticket to Exit
- Make sure you retain the Parking Entrance Ticket you received upon entry, as it is needed to exit parking.
- When exiting insert the entrance ticket first, then insert the validated ticket
Paying for Parking
- For events with guests who will be paying for parking, send advance notice that they can pre-pay before exiting; this will help reduce traffic buildup in the ramp and enable guests to exit more quickly, rather than waiting for a payment to go through at the exits.
- Guests can pre-pay at the pay station located on the first floor of the ramp tower next to the stair well.
- Important note for guests: Metro State University does NOT accept American Express credit cards!!
Parking Ramp Entrances and Exits
- Please inform your guests prior to or at your event that the ramp has entrances/exits on Maria Ave. and Bates Ave.
- For more location details, refer to the St. Paul Campus Map.
- For large events please inform the Parking Operations Coordinator of event start/stop times.
- The Parking Operations Coordinator will work with Campus Security to ensure we have personal at the entrances/exits during start/stop times to assist your guests and to direct traffic.
