Metro Moment is the weekly eNewsletter sent to employees on most Mondays to provide important university updates in one spot. While we realize some items are urgent and cannot wait, if you plan to send an email to all employees, please instead consider sending in a Metro Moment Employee eNewsletter Request. Submissions are limited to 250 words and may be edited for accuracy, clarity, and brevity. The deadline for submission is the end of day the Wednesday before publication. All submissions must indicate a section for placement from the following:
- Urgent and Important Announcements (security, building services issues, important university-wide items with time sensitivity)
- Student Services (items regarding student-facing services and those that student-facing employees may need to communicate to students)
- General Interest (items and announcements of interest to all employees)
- Metro in the Media (items highlighting Metro State community members being mentioned in outside media channels)
- Events listings (additional promotional content to drive interest to events calendar listings)
- Accolades (announcements of awards and exciting developments for members of the Metro State community)
Submitted documents may be linked for additional context, but will not be attached to the newsletter.
