Microsoft Video training

• Microsoft 365 Basics Video Training

Another easy option to access Microsoft O365 training, learning resources and instructions is from your O365 account at office.com.

• Log in with your MinnState O365 login:

  • StarID@go.minnstate.edu (students)

  • StarID@minnstate.edu (employees)

• Click on the “?” located in the upper-right.

• In the search field you can use key terms to search for specific information or use search terms such as, “training”, “basics” to get video training and other learning resources search results.

LinkedIn Learning

• As a Metropolitan State University student, faculty or staff member you have access to LinkedIn Learning. This online learning & training resource provides access to a library of thousands of training courses.
  • Go to the LinkedIn Learning login page and log in using your MinnState O365 login.

Log in with your MinnState login credentials:

    Username:
        Students: StarID@go.minnstate.edu
        Employees: StarID@minnstate.edu
    Password:
        StarID password

• There are dozens of videos and courses to learn more about Office 365. You can search for Office 365 learning resource or narrow your search to find learning resources about a specific Microsoft application. There are robust learning courses and smaller bite sized options to choose from to fit your schedule. Here are just a few examples:

Office 365 Training and Resources (video)

• This 47 minute training video provided by IT Services and Center for Online Learning presents an introduction of Office 365 for remote instruction and work.
• Employees can access the training video:
  • Go to my.metro (my.metrostate.edu) and log in using your StarID username and password.
  • You will see your Employee Dashboard. In the left navigation under Training and Resources select All Training and Resources.
  • Click on Office 365 Training and Resources.
