Star Alert: Login Issues

How To:

I've forgotten my Star Alert password:
  • The password is unique to the Star Alert system, so you will need to reset it. See Instructions below
I've forgotten my Star Alert Email login:
  • Students and Employees should use their O365 username.
    • Students:

First Time Users must complete the Sign Me Up! process to register. See article College Emergency Notifications: Star Alert & Alertus for more information

  • Guest Users can attempt the Sign Me Up! option again. If the email address is already registered you will get an error message.
    • Once the registered email address is identified then the password can be reset.

Star Alert Password Reset Instructions:
  • Select the "Forgot your password?" option
  • Enter the Registered Email Address for your account and select "Send"
  • A "Forgot Password Request" email will be sent to the Registered Email Address
    • The email can take up to 5 minutes to be delivered
    • The email is sent from
    • The email link expires after 15 minutes
  • Click on the provided link
  • Answer the presented Security question
  • Enter new password and Login
