COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan Meeting & Event Request

Overview

  • Due to Covid-19, all in person Meeting & Event Requests including 25 or more participants will require a COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan Meeting & Event Request and should be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to the meeting/event date to allow for coordination and review.
  • COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan Meeting & Event Request, will need to be filled out when you are planning any meeting, internal event, co-sponsored event and/or an external event on any of our Metropolitan State University Campus or any of our Metropolitan State University staff are going to an event off campus.

To begin select the Request Service button and fill out the online form, include as much detail as possible then Submit.

Prevention of COVID-19 Infections:

  • Health, screening, isolation and quarantine: We encourage communications with participants to encourage them to stay home if sick and to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.   Describe if you are planning on a safety related communication for those attending the event.
  • Physical distancing, cohorts and minimizing opportunities for mixing: Physical distancing is recommended.  Space requests will be approved at reduced capacities in rooms to provide physical distancing.

Note: An electronic option (Zoom) will need to be provided for any attendee with underlying health conditions.

  • Provides health safety to Metropolitan State University faculty, student and staff when attending a meeting/event on or off campus.
