NonSalary by Cost Center Manager - for General Fund NonDedicated

New custom report links for each Cost center manager focused on worktags funded by the General Fund nondedicated budget -- Report displays only NONSALARY budget and actuals to minimize drill down needed.

A new easier to run and use report is available to those with Workday Cost Center Manager or Finance Analyst role.

There is a report FOR EACH COST CENTER MANAGER that

• shows only NONSALARY budget vs actual for worktags in their Cost Centers that are funded by GENERAL FUND NONDEDICATED revenues.
•  excludes Revenue as well as salary, fringe and student worker expense

To access the report either:

1-) Use the URL provided below

• Click on the URL link below for the desired cost center manager
• Login to Workday (if prompted)
• Select OK
• View your NONSALARY budget vs actual funded by general fund nondedicated revenues

OR

2-) Search in Workday by Cost Center Manager name

• In the Workday Search Bar, type the last name of the desired cost center manager,
• under Tasks and Reports select the report NonSalary by Cost Center Manager (the report name will also include the cc manager's last name and cost center(s)

• Pre-populated report filter
• Summarized NONSALARY budget and spending across your PGs and across ledgers, and limits the amount of report expansion/drill down needed to view that information.

In Workday, add it to your Saved Shortcuts on the main menu, or save the report as a Favorite custom report.

​​If you wish to view the report for a single PG or PR worktag, change the Worktags filter before running the report (and if desired save the filter for future use)

Workday Security role needed:  Cost Center Manager or Finance Analyst; I am sending a separate note to make Finance Analysts aware of this report.

Reminder that this report includes only worktags funded by general fund nondedicated revenue.   They EXCLUDE dedicated worktags such as grants, COLLABS, Customized Training, REV funds, Student Activity Fee, etc.

Cost Center Managers for DEDICATED accounts (TRIO, TRIO UB, C-PLAN, IT COE) do not have this report...which focuses on nondedicated funding 

I am also notifying Workday Finance Analysts of this report, since I am aware of many tasked with reviewing NONSALARY budgets/spending.
