Overview
Beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026, our St. Paul campus buildings will move to ID badge access only - except at three entrances.
The three building entrances that can be used by visitors or those without a badge may enter through the following entrances where campus safety will be stationed:
- Library building, 1st floor, door # 55 (east main entrance – parking lot)
- Auditorium entrance in Founder's Hall, door #23
- Student Center entrance, door #01, nearest to the parking ramp

Students
- Monday through Friday 7:00am to 10:00pm
- Saturday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Employees
- Monday through Friday 6:15am to 10:00pm
- Saturday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Building Door ID Badge Access Locations
During the hours, listed above, use your Metro State ID badge to access building doors at these locations.
- Founders Hall: 1st floor, door # 22 & 23
- Saint John’s Hall: 1st floor, door # 37 & 38 and lower-level North entrance door # 42 (parking lot)
- New Main: 1st floor, door # 24 & 31 and lower-level North entrance door # 32 (parking lot)
- Library: 1st floor, door # 55 (East Main entrance - parking lot), 2nd floor skyway doors and skyway elevator.
- Student Centerr: 1st floor, door # 01 courtyard entry hear parking ramp.
