Browser Support (March 9, 2026 Update)
To maintain performance, accessibility, and security, Brightspace's minimum supported browser versions increases every January and July. This update increases the minimum supported browser versions to:
- Chrome 140
- Edge 140
- Safari 26
- Firefox 143
The minimum legacy browsers are now:
- Chrome 106-139
- Edge 16-139
- Safari 16-18
- Firefox 105-142
The following browsers are no longer supported (as of July 2025):
- Chrome 81 and earlier
- Edge 81 and earlier
- Safari 14 and earlier
- Firefox 104 and earlier
- Firefox ESR 102 and earlier
For optimal performance, D2L recommends using the latest version of a supported browser. Refer to the updated Browser support topic (available on July 3, 2025) for details.
