  • How do I connect to VPN with my Metropolitan State University Mac OS laptop?

Answer:

Please follow these steps to get connected each time you are using your university issued Mac computer remotely to successfully connect using VPN.  You may notice that you can't connect to your home wireless network or cellular hot spot with your work laptop if you don't follow these steps and may be unable to access resources with your work laptop.

1) Open the Cisco AnyConnect software from the Applications folder.

2) Open the AnyConnect software.  In the server address bar provided, enter “connect.metrostate.edu” and then click Connect.Ready to Connect AnyConnect VPN Mac OS

3) Select the METRO group and enter your StarID and password.  Click Connect.

You will now be connected to the Metrostate VPN service and an AnyConnect Icon will be placed in the system tray.         Connected AnyConnect Mac OS VPN Image System Tray
