This article was created to walk you through the configuration and setup of the eduroam wireless network on personally-owned Microsoft Windows 7 workstations.
Please Note: If the system is a Metro State owned workstation it should be configured automatically and you do not need to follow these instructions.
1. In the bottom right-hand corner of your Windows desktop, click on the Wireless icon to display a list of available networks. Select "eduroam" from the list of available networks and click on the "Connect" button.

2. Enter your login credentials. Use login credentials, username: email address and enter your StarID password and then click "OK".
3. You may be prompted with a Windows Security Alert which states the server credentials could not be verified. What this means is that the certificate authority of the authentication server is not present in your systems certificate store. This is normal. Please ensure the Radius Server listed has a "metrostate.edu" domain name and that the Root CA listed is "AddTrust External CA Root". Once verified, click on the "Connect" button to proceed.

4. The authentication server will now validate your credentials. Once complete, you will be connected to eduroam.
