The StarID is a username specific to each student, faculty and staff member of Minnesota State System of colleges and universities.

Your StarID is two letters, four numbers, and two letters, e.g. "ab1234cd."
Faculty, staff and students are all assigned a Minnesota State StarID.
Instead of a separate log in at each college or university, you can use the same StarID across Minnesota State to access resources.
Allows students to log into the portal, email, eServices and more.
Allows faculty to log into the portal, ISRS and more.
