Body

  • University PMO gets its project work/assignments from the annual work plans created by University Planning. 
  • University Planning process: 
    • Annually, members of the President's Executive Cabinet (PEC) document their division work plan. 
    • Division work plans are a list of high-priority activities (projects, initiatives) for the fiscal year. 
    • Division work plan projects are in support of: 
      • Strategic Plan goals
      • Master Plan goals/strategies
      • Other division priorities
    • PEC reviews all plans and discusses cross-division resource needs and prioritization. 
    • Facilitated by Alec Campbell, Institutional Effectiveness and Research (IER) on behalf of the President.

Function

Facilitates priority identification

Facilitates re-prioritization due to unplanned/unexpected activities

Focuses on implementing a subset of the priorities

Reports progress toward completion (on my.metro for employees and to PEC)

  • priority change confirmed by President

Division-level Engagement PEC PEC and those VPs designated to lead/do project work
