Student instructions to access Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

Students will need to be logged in to Virtual Lab in order to create an Adobe ID.

  • Step 1) Access Virtual Lab from a personally owned computer or from a campus lab computer:
    • If you are accessing Virtual Lab from a personally owned computer navigate to https://labs.metrostate.edu.
    • If you are accessing Virtual Lab from a campus lab computer, Log in to the computer using your StarID and password (username is StarID only, do not use StarId@minnstate.edu for Username). After you have entered your StarID credentials skip to step 4 and continue with the instructions.
  • Step 2) You will be presented with a splash screen with two connection options:
  • Step 3) Log in to the Virtual lab environment with your StarID and password (username is StarID only, do not use StarId@minnstate.edu for Username).
  • Step 4) Click on any of the Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

  • Step 5) A sign in screen will open. click on "Create an account" link:
  • Step 6) Note: You must use your Metropolitan State University or Minnesota State provided email account for account creation. 
    • Complete Create an account information and click Create Account button.

  • Step 6) An email verification will be sent to the email you provided. Once verified, you will be able to sign in with your new Adobe ID and start using any Adobe Creative Cloud application.
